Nobel Peace Prize WHAT!

The Wall Street Journal was the first to report yesterday about Madonna's record deal with Live Nation who is basically a concert promotion company. Madge is said to be leaving Warner Bros. for this $100 million dollar record deal.
Yes. $100 million dollars for three lousy albums. That's just craziness. All this talk about money and record labels is really making the labels sweat because right now there seems to be a mini-revolution going on. We all know how Radiohead is doing their thing with the free downloads and the direct sale of their music to companies like iTunes. Well The Eagles (I've had a really bad day and I hate the fuckin Eagles man) are kind of doing the same thing; they're selling their music directly to Wal-Mart.
I haven't been a fan of Madonna's for a while now. She's too overdone. I respect what she's done and all, but I definitely don't think she's still worth $100 million for three albums.
Whatever. I won't buy the album, but I know a bunch of people who will...

I know I keep saying it over and over again, but fuck: what this girl deals with on a daily basis is insane. Yesterday must have been one of her days when she just wasn't in the mood for the paps, because she kept saying "I'm scared."
Yeah, it's kind of bizaare. But then again, it's Britney.
Ms.Spears should have gone to court this morning because her lawyer was going to be asking the judge for overnight visitation rights with the chillin. Obviously it would have looked better for her to be there, because that would be an attempt, right?
I get the whole legal system thing and respecting the justice system and so on, but Brit literally can't go anywhere without being followed.
I think we should all leave Britney alone. But what the fuck do I know? I can't go 24 hours without posting about her! I'm addicted to Brit!

What's a Monday night without The Hills? Eh, not much different from when we get it.

Did you miss The Hills this week? I'm not trying to hate, but I didn't miss it at all. And I know that damn show. Why didn't I miss it? Probably because it's drama factor has done anything but leave me on the edge of my seat.
What's a bummer about The Hills is that due to it's popularity and the LC and Heidi drama, we already know what's going to happen because they're all in Us Weekly every week. We know what's going to happen, and that's just no fun.
On to the scoop: LC and Audrina were seen Wednesday afternoon catching a flight out of LAX. They did an interview with TV Guide and answered some questions about the validity of the show.

Once and for all, is the show staged? Yes and no. “Who I am on the show is who I am in real life,” Audrina Patridge says. “What you see is what you get.” But it wasn’t just a coincidence that friends-turned-enemies Lauren and Heidi Montag went to the trendy restaurant Ketchup on the same night. “Lauren and Jason [Wahler] were going there, and Heidi and Spencer [Pratt] wanted to celebrate their anniversary,” says exec producer Adam DiVello. “Ketchup was one of the spots Spencer wanted to go to, so it just sort of worked out. It wasn’t planned on our behalf, but it is a little fake.”

How long do the girls have cameras with them each day? Sometimes hours, sometimes not at all. (Monday and Tuesday are their days off.) “We don’t have a set schedule,” Audrina says. “It depends on what’s going on.” At the beginning of each week, the girls speak with producers about their plans. “I hate to say we schedule their lives, but we definitely schedule out what we want to cover,” DiVello says.Is Heidi and Spencer’s relationship a sham? Not according to DiVello. “They’re very much in love when I see them,” he says. “They’re a real couple and definitely engaged. It’s not staged for the sake of our show. If they’ve got something else going on, we’ve yet to see it.”

How do Lauren and Audrina afford that apartment? We have no idea. MTV won’t name the complex (it’s not really called Hillside Villas) because when people find out, they camp in front waiting to see the stars. But a swanky two-bedroom apartment in that area costs about $3,000 a month. Audrina works part-time as a receptionist at Epic Records and Lauren is an intern at Teen Vogue. You do the math.

Do Lauren and Audrina have a standing reservation at Les Deux? No, but they’re friends with the promoters and owners, so they know they’ll always be whisked past the velvet rope. Plus, the other clubgoers seem to have gotten used to seeing the cast there all the time, so the camera crews can go about their business pretty much unbothered. “It’s like a home away from home,” Audrina says. If your home always has a fully stocked bar that is.
